A look into our garden.

We are passionate about gardens, as well as art, antiques, architecture, food and nature.

We delight in making the garden space around Bay Tree Villa as inviting as possible - not just for wildlife, but for our guests - many of whom are keen and capable gardeners with a broad interest in horticulture.

Our garden, like most, is a work in progress and we contine to add new structural elements - from small trees to large shrubs and salvaged stone urns and statuary, as well as bee-friendly plants.

Guests are most welcome to spend time in the garden, to watch and listen to the birds, to read a book, to relax and reflect, or to have a cuppa and a good natter.

In case you’re curious, the flags are the Yorkshire flag with its iconic White Rose of York, and the flag of Munster, the south westerly province of the Republic of Ireland from where our family hail. The Munster flag features three golden, antique Irish crowns arranged in a classic heraldic pattern.
